If Microsoft doesn't know what the error was, how do they know that Sun doesn't have a solution for it?
But it is an interesting bit o' marketing. Since Microsoft has a reputation for crash prone software (though by all accounts XP and other newer software is actually doing pretty good on that score), this could be an attempt to defend themselves by pointing a VERY LARGE FINGER at other programs whenever possible. Do other crashes get similar treatment, or are they singling out Sun?
